It's a team approach.  No single individual or specialty is adequate to take care of cancer.  The complexity of patient physiology, drug therapy, radiation therapy, supportive care antibiotics, effects, diseases; all of this requires a multi-disciplinary team, and each member of the team plays a critical role because we couldn't do it without the other. 

I've referred some adults, and all of our pediatric oncology patients that need radiation therapy. They're the only people that we use at this point, again because of their experience."
