"In 1988 I had a diagnosis of breast cancer, followed by surgery in Albuquerque. Although technology is very important with breast cancer treatment, I felt I needed to have a Radiation Oncologist who would be supportive of the significant emotional aspects of the disease. And so I chose Dr. Kutub Khan, whom I knew had a compassionate, caring personality.

Dr. Khan knows that patients need the dignity of personal choice. He gave us those choices.  I didn't have anything dictated to me. Information was given to me and reaffirmed, and yet I still had the choice to do what I felt was correct for me with Dr. Khan's guidance.

The staff members surrounding Dr. Khan were kind. From the very first visit, they remembered me and I felt that they cared about me. Throughout the weeks of my radiation therapy, they were very reassuring. They perceived my needs and sustained me tenderly.

Each patient has to make their own individual choices, but I highly recommend Dr. Kutub Khan and his associates. He surrounds himself with the best people. Whether it is the receptionist at the front desk, a tech assisting you in the treatment area, the nurses, or the other associates, everyone throughout, are all excellent caregivers. It was the perfect place for me and I highly recommend them. Eighteen years later, I am very thankful to be alive."
